Anita Sarrafian (b. 1980, New York) is a contemporary painter based in the French countryside on the Geneva border. Her work explores pattern and geometric form in an effort to evoke the compartmentalised aspects of our personalities and identities. 

With a background in Art History and Fine Arts, she has developed a unique approach that merges her fascination with textile patterns and her desire to communicate personal experiences through a fresh visual language.
